Motorola New W Series
Desperate for new phones to turn around the company, Motorola announced seven new cellphone handsets just in time for the holiday buying season.

Leading the pack is a luxury version of the Razr2, the latest successor to its once top-selling model. With it's gold plate accents and snakeskin texture, the ultra-slim design phone will retail at close to $300. It can store up to a 1,000 songs, uses the Opera Mobile Browser 8.5, and comes with a 2.0 megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom.

The company said four of the seven new W-series phones - the W160, W180, W213 and W377 - feature FM radio, which requires headphones. Six of the handsets contain Motorola's proprietary CrystalTalk technology, which automatically adjusts audio for clear calls in noisy environments.

Also introduced to the pack is the Moto U9, a lightweight phone and music player with clamshell design and stereo Bluetooth wireless technology, a two-megapixel camera with 8x zoom and multiple messaging capabilities. You can't get it here yet as it's debuting in Asia, Latin America and Europe first.
